Created by a therapist
who works with kids every day

Raising an Anxious Generation was created by Taylor to give parents what she wishes she’d known sooner. It combines the neuroscience of how anxiety actually works with the practical frameworks she uses in her therapy practice every single day — taught in plain language with real examples, not clinical jargon.

Taylor is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Clinical Director at Uhane Counseling, PS. She graduated from Lewis & Clark College with a master’s in counseling (specialization in addictions) and has spent years working with children, adolescents, couples, and families. Her specialties include anxiety, PTSD, depression, and adolescent mental health.

Her approach brings together attachment theory, somatic work, DBT, CBT, and systemic therapy — all grounded in the belief that healing comes through the whole person: mental, physical, and relational.

Common questions

Who is this for — and will it help?

This workshop is for any parent, caregiver, or adult in a child's life who wants to better understand anxiety and feel more equipped to respond to it. You don't need any background in therapy or psychology.
Yes — and often even more so. When parents understand anxiety the same way a therapist does and use consistent language at home, kids make faster progress. This teaches you the same frameworks Taylor uses in the therapy room.
Most applicable for parents of children ages 5–18. The neuroscience and conversation frameworks are relevant across a wide developmental range, though some tools are most tailored for school-age children and teenagers.
Yes. The workbook stands on its own and walks through each concept with enough context to be understood independently. That said, the video and workbook complement each other beautifully.
One-time purchase with lifetime access. Once you buy, you can return to the video and digital workbook whenever you need — whether that's tomorrow or two years from now.
Absolutely. The workbook was designed for live group workshops. Discussion questions and reflection exercises work beautifully in a group setting. Reach out to Uhane Counseling directly for group licensing or bulk orders.
O.A.R. is a conversation framework Taylor teaches for opening meaningful conversations with an anxious child. It gives you specific language and listening skills used in therapy sessions. The full breakdown and practice scripts are covered in the video and the Practice Conversations chapter.

“This job is not an easy one.”

You’re the mechanism. You’re the driving force. And you don’t have to figure this out alone — Taylor built this for you.
